The RFP Process for Procuring PIPP Supply

This PIPP RFP is a solicitation process by which The Dayton Power and Light Company is seeking to procure full requirements service for their Percentage of Income Payment Plan (“PIPP”) customers. Winning bidders will assume all responsibilities of a Load Serving Entity (“LSE”) in PJM.

Only Competitive Retail Electric Service (“CRES”) providers certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (“PUCO” or “Commission”) are allowed to submit bids in the PIPP RFP.

The schedule for the PIPP RFPs and the delivery periods of the products being procured can be found on the Calendar page of this Website.

This PIPP RFP process is being conducted pursuant to the Commission’s Finding and Order on PIPP in Case No. 16-247-EL-UNC. Click here for more information.

This PIPP RFP process is separate from the competitive bidding process (“CBP”) used by The Dayton Power and Light Company to procure full requirements service for their Standard Service Offer (“SSO”) customers – which is load not being served by a Competitive Retail Electric Service ("CRES") Supplier and excludes load associated with customers on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (“PIPP Customers”). More information about that CBP can be found at http://www.dpandlpowerauctions.com.
